Animal Welfare
At Wallace Pharmaceuticals, we deeply care about animals and prioritise their well-being as a fundamental part of our CSR operations. We believe that animal welfare is an often-overlooked aspect of CSR in many organisations, but we are committed to ensuring that our practices align with the highest standards of animal welfare. Through partnerships with animal welfare organisations that work towards the protection and welfare of animals, we strive to make a positive impact on their lives. We recognise the importance of treating animals with respect, compassion, and dignity and hope to inspire other companies to prioritise this important aspect of corporate social responsibility.
Our Contribution
We have been able to make a significant impact in providing care and support to stray dogs and cats thanks to our collaborations with IDA (In Defence of Animals) and WVS (World Veterinary Services). Understanding the plight of these vulnerable animals, we took proactive measures to build a shelter with IDA that offered a safe and nurturing environment for them. This shelter provides a much-needed respite, shielding them from harsh weather conditions and acting as a safe haven for these animals, ensuring they receive the love and security they deserve.
In addition to the shelter, we donated a van to WVS, which allows them to conduct dog rescue operations in remote areas. The van is equipped with medical supplies, food, and water to ensure that the rescued dogs receive immediate care and attention. This initiative has been instrumental in saving countless lives, as it enables WVS to reach animals in need quickly and efficiently. We have also ensured a consistent supply of nutritious food and essential medicines for animals at these organisations.
